The best natural light occurs in the morning or about 90 minutes before sunset. A mid-day shoot is usually not ideal, as the bright light can create harsh shadows on your face and make you squint -- not a good look! The exception to this is when the day is overcast or when we're shooting at a location with plenty of shade, such as a tree-filled park. A family portrait session with young children typically lasts about an hour, but we are happy to spend more time with you -- the more photos the better!
You contact us, and we pick a date and location for your shoot. A deposit secures your date.

HOW IT WORKS
LOCATION
We are available for portrait sessions anywhere in the Broome County area, and we can advise you on a location that aligns with your vision. The ideal location will be scenic with minimal cars and people. Secluded spots tend to make clients feel more comfortable while providing a safe space for children to run around and a clean background for your photos.
Recommended locations include: your home, Highland Park, Downtown Binghamton, your home if you have backyard space, and many other local parks and locations. We always up for trying new locations! You have anything you want to try?
TIME
PRICING
A family portrait session costs $597 and includes a gallery of 25 downloadable high resolution images. Additional images from your session (beyond the 25 included) may be purchased for $5 each. Your session also includes a small custom designed album.
FAMILY PORTRAITS
MINI SESSIONS
A family MINI portrait session costs $99 and we only do these 3 times a year. It includes a gallery of 50 downloadable high resolution images. Additional images from your session (beyond the 50 included) may be purchased for $5 each. Your session will be about 15-20 minutes.
